About Us

Terrebonne Home Watch
Our Company
Terrebonne Home Watch is a local Terrebonne, OR family-operated small business. Our service is designed for seasonal residents who leave their home unoccupied for an extended period of time.
We regularly check for potential issues and keep you informed so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. We add to the security of your home by maintaining activity on your property and removing signals that announce “this house is empty”. We bridge the gap between having a neighbor keep an eye on the place and hiring a full service property manager.
Being year round residents of Crooked River Ranch we are aware of the concerns of the community and the challenges of our Central Oregon climate. We know when a dry spell brings greater fire risk and when a snow storm leaves heavy snowfall sitting on your roof. We are committed to checking your property for potential problems and removing signals that announce “this house is empty” so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away.

WHAT IS HOME WATCH IS
Also known as estate watch, property caretaking, and more, a home watch service is an observational walk through of a home or property. Homeowners who are away for extended periods of time benefit from having their home visited regularly, finding potential issues before they become major problems and deterring crime by having regular activity on the property.
WHAT HOME WATCH IS NOT
Our home watch service is not house or pet-sitting, but we do watch over your home, so you can be at ease while you're away. We are not home inspectors, but similar to a home inspection we look for potential problems and maintain systems so they remain operational. We observe and document current conditions to watch for changes and help slow the deterioration of the home. We are not a home security company, but our services adds security to your home while it is empty, by leaving fresh tire tracks and removing signs that it is empty to discourage thieves and squatters.
WHAT WE DO
At Terrebonne Home Watch we provide in-person visits to unoccupied homes, follow seasonal checklists to look for common potential problems, and communicate our findings with homeowners. The home is visited regularly at different times and days of the week, removing items left at the front door, giving it a lived in appearance. We look for any obvious issues or potential problems and communicate our findings to help you stay informed about your property while you’re away.
After the visit we send pictures and a report to document the condition of the home. This is important for home owners whose insurance may deny claims for homes that are unoccupied for a certain amount of time. Frequency and level of service depend on the services you choose. See the services page to choose what's right for you.
